Message Colder outside air is more dense and compresses exponentially faster and with less effort. A duel selonoid EBC can help, but there are a number of equaly important factors that come to play in boost continuity as the temps drop outside. At this point I'm relegated to mixing a gallon of Q16 on every tank full, as my boost spikes in this cold weather as well.

I'm not altogether convinced that the winter mix fuel we're given is the same octane/quality as the summer mix. Don't know if anyone else has picked up on this.
